Caitlynn Mayhew (she/hers) joined cyberSW as the Native American Fellow in 2023. She is Diné from Cove, Arizona. Her professional interests center around wildlife biology and photography. She is currently living in Phoenix and she’s honored to be a guest on the traditional homeland of the Akimel O’odham and the Pee Posh.
Caitlynn received her M.A. in Native American Studies (2020) and a B.S. in Biology (2018) from the University of New Mexico. Her primary focus is integrating Traditional Ecological Knowledge into current wildlife conservation practices with additional interest in Indigenous language revitalization. Caitlynn is excited to join the cyberSW team to offer her skills in sustainable Indigenous nation-building and self-determination.
