Elysia is Archaeology Southwest’s Development and Marketing Manager. She supports the organization by growing membership, maintaining our database, planning events, and helping with social media and outreach. Elysia is here to help any member upgrade to the sustaining membership circle, answer questions on how to give a gift membership, or help you download free PDFs of Archaeology Southwest Magazine from our website. She’s proud to be part of a team that is building bridges among many communities and ways of valuing heritage and heritage places here in the Southwest.
She originally comes from Minneapolis, Minnesota, and holds a B.A. in English from University of Northern Iowa (2002). She moved to Tucson in 2008, and previously worked in membership services at The Miniature Museum. In her spare time, she enjoys being outside with friends and leading workshops involving bicycle advocacy and the puppet arts in Tucson.
