Raised in Nogales, Sonora, I came to Tucson to complete a Bachelors of Art in Anthropology from the University of Arizona, as well as a certificate in Field Archaeology from Pima Community College.
After volunteering at the Arizona State Museum, I was able to work with Patronato San Xavier as an Art Conservation Apprentice alongside Matilde Rubio, Tim Lewis, and Susie Moreno, assisting with the restoration of San Xavier Mission on the Tohono O’odham reservation.
I’m currently working as a Student Museum Technician at WACC, where I seek to expand my knowledge.
