Description
Between Mimbres and Hohokam: Exploring the Archaeology and History of Southeastern Arizona and Southwestern New Mexico (AP52)
Between Mimbres and Hohokam began as an Advanced Seminar held at the Amerind Foundation in 1997. New research was beginning to shed light on the role of “the land between” Hohokam and Mimbres–southeastern Arizona and southwestern New Mexico. The seminar proved to be a productive forum for information sharing and further synthesis. This long-awaited volume summarizes the seminar proceedings and synthesizes new research and discoveries dating after the seminar. It is rich in data that, until this point, have not been widely available.
Between Mimbres and Hohokam is published through a partnership among Archaeology Southwest, The Amerind Foundation, and Desert Archaeology, Inc.
